Karkhana is a social enterprise that focuses on giving students the right skills and attitude so that they can solve problems on their own and eventually build their own future. We strongly believe that makers today are the shapers of the future. We create learning kits for middle-school students as making teaches children to be resourceful, to reshape their own environment, to solve novel problems, and thus makes them confident in the face of novel and unexpected problems.
(An innovative value education programme) An innovative concept developed by Edu Media, School Cinema is a film-based learning module combined with a fun and exciting workbook to reaffirm values, morals and equip children with skills to deal with everyday challenges. A fine blend of entertainment and education, it uses a language that children are familiar with. It also acts as a training aid for teachers to enhance their self and professional development, in addition to bringing parents into the circle of learning through specially created films on parenting.
